BATTERY RECYCLING
The CSU offers battery recycling; simply drop of your batteries in MA 116. Recycling batteries keeps them out of landfills and prevents the leaching of toxic materials into the ground and ground water supplies. The following batteries are accepted for recycling at the CSU:
- Alkaline AAAA to D
- Lithium
- Mercury Oxide Sealed Cells
- Nickel Cadmium and Nickel Metal Hydride Sealed Cell Rechargeable
- Zinc Chloride
- Zinc Carbon
- Sorry, no car batteries!
