ECCE Students' Group
Bringing Early Childhook Care and Education (ECCE) students from the beginning of year 1 of their certificate through year 4 of their degree will allow students of all ages to engage in a positive environment. The club's key role is one of support for all students and to provide a place for students to discuss current political issues faced by the ECCE field in general (ie: $20 for ECE). The aim of this working group would be to allow students (and potential students during openhouse times) to be together in and out of class space. This would give students a sense of freedom to discuss difficult or personal issues that they may not want to bring up in a large group. Mentors would then be chosen to help that student.
As a whole, those of us who choose to go into ECCE do so out of passion to help teach/learn with young children and their families. Many of us have been waiting many years for this degree and would love to see Capilano University at the forefront of its program club as well.
Purposes and Aims
To provide an opportunity for 1st through 4th year students to be together in a non-judgmental co-operative work & study environment. To provide a space for students to discuss, philosophize, and critique together in a work and mentoring environment.

The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture shall exist in order to provide a way to expose anime fans to the non-mainstream. This shall not be a club where we watch AMVs all day, or re-watch Naruto/Bleach/Death Note countless times. In this club, we shall explore the original works, and the great works of beauty unseen by to many. This shall be a place of learning, where at each gathering, I shall strive to show everyone something new. We shall discuss the deeper meanings of these works of art, and try to expose others to this wonderful culture. This is The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture, and anyone who knows what that name is from - you should join as soon as possible!
